Christmas is Coming!

November 7th 2009- Sarah, MacKenzie and I went to our first Christmas Celebration Onyx. A local greenhouse has amazing decorations and lights on display for Christmas
Kenzie gets lost in all the red and whites

YUMMY!!!! Candy canes are tastt! Do you like candy canes?

We had lots of opportunities to take pictures - there were decorations everywhere!

Here is Sarah with MacKenzie just before we decided to call it a day!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I Have to Make an Adjustment

November 6th - MacKenzie is becoming a pro at the Chiropractors. She gets right up on the table and lays down all by herself. Gotta keep that spine healthy!

PEEK-A-BOO

November 6th - MacKenzie has found a new hiding place - at least until we need the space
The doors are light enought for her to open and close by herself.
She hasn't quite figured out how to get her legs tucked up and close the door though

Video - If the Shoe Fits

November 1st - Our first full day in the new house and Kenzie thinks the best part of it all is daddy's shoes.

When a House is a Home

November 1st 2009 - Our first day in our new house
Moving day can be pretty dirty business. So we got nice and clean before our first sleep in our new house!

Lots of interesting and new things to explore,

and Kitties to chase!

Video - I like to MOVE it, MOVE it!

October 24th - 6 more days until we move! As the day approaches the boxes are beginning to get in our way. It is a constant shuffle to get to what we need.

Precious Cargo Coming Through!

October 22nd - We are getting ready for moving day! After the pool and deck were dismanteled they needed to be put in the shed.
As you can see here, MacKenzie was a big help.

I'm just along for the ride!

Sleepy Baby

October 16th - This is the favored sleep position - Looks comfy, doesn't it?

Video - Playing on the Trampoline

October 13th - MacKenzie's first time expressing any real interest in jumping on the trampoline. I guess she wanted to give it one last try before it comes down for the move.

Even Teddy Bears Need to Eat!

October 12th - Kenzie's first time really showing an interest in "role playing". She regularily enjoys feeding her Teddy Bears
Troy and Nancy got at new bedroom set and MacKenzie is giving it a test run. It looks like it meets her approval.

A Camping We Will Go!

October 12-14th: We spent Thanksgiving weekend out at Dave and Gerri's camp. Unfortunately Kenzie wasn't feeling well all weekend, but we had fun anyway.
We spent the weekend with some good friends of ours: the Lindeman's, the MacLean's and the Newranski's. MacKenzie just walked over an plopped herself down right on top of Anna. Luckily for Anna she doesn't weigh that much.

She might be little but she sure does have alot of personality. She loves to put on other peoples mittens. I do believe these were Hugo's.

Under Construction

October 8th 2009- MacKenzie and I go to Cooperative Playschool every Thursday morning at the church. There are so many fun things to do while we are there and we get to play with alot of great friends.
As you can tell, Kenzie had a cold this particular week (her nose matches her shirt!).
One of the things we like to do while we are there is paly with play-doh. This is Angela teaching Kenzie how to make different shapes.
It's almost time to go home for a nap

Do You See What I See?

September 21st - PE, Kenzie, Sarah and I hike Mount MaKay this afternoon (well MacKenzie didn't do very much hiking)
Here we are at the top - we enjoyed the view,

but mostly we enjoyed the wild blueberries

You can see all of Thunder Bay and some of Lake Superior too.

and if you are lucky enough you can even do a little flying:-)

But as we all know what goes up, must come down!

An Apple a Day

September 18th - Like all good "East Coasters", MacKenzie can appreciate a fine apple!

A Day at the County Fair

September 7th 2009 - My little artist painting a beautiful masterpiece at the Hymer's Fair
So many things to do at the County Fair
MOO!!!

There's just nothing scary about this Scarecrow

Dog Sled Huskies

And what would a County Fair be without horses?

Thanks Sarah, Troy and Nancy for spending the day with us.
