It's a Wonderful Life

December 11th - Since there was a storm last night I didn't really want to go anywhere. So Stacy came over and hung out with me. We ended up watching "It's a Wonderful Life" and as you can see MacKenzie liked the movie too.

Baby Snow Angel

December 11th - Well we got about a foot of snow last night so Kenzie and I went outside this morning and made snow angels.

Well to be truthful I didn't actually make one, it was just Kenzie. She loves being outside!

It's pretty cute!

First BIG snow fall this year

December 10th - MacKenzie and I took a walk down to the post box in the storm. It was beautiful out and Kenzie just loved the snow falling. The tree looks so pretty with all the snow on it.

She's on the Move

December 9th - Well today is a big day Onyx, MacKenzie is finally crawling. I guess we just had to place the right type of motivation in front of her. Yup it's a sure thing - she is without a doubt a Binderup. She wouldn't crawl to mommy or daddy, not even toys did the trick. But place a plate of food in front of her and look at her go.

It Ain't Nothin' but a Girl Thing

December 7th - After church Megan, Brynn, Jocelyn and Lindsay came over for a little Christmas Party. It was wonderful to hang out with just the girls again and celebrate the Christmas season.

Horse-ing Around

December 6th - Our friend Nancy came over for a visit and helped saddle up MacKenzie's new horse. Who needs stirrups? You look like a pro already Kenzie, Giddy up!

December 6th - MacKenzie and I are wrapping our Christmas presents today

Splish, Splash I was Taking a Bath

December 3rd - I think a naked baby in the tub might, quite possibly, be the cutest pictures ever. If you look closely, Onyx you can see her first tooth

Ringing in the Christmas season with a BANG!!!!

November 28th - A couple of friends as well as MacKenzie and myself went to the festival of lights at Vanderwees. There was an amazing light display and lots of fireworks too. It was a ton of fun!

A Fun Filled Day

November 28th - MacKenzie was just a little bit fussy today so I decided that a walk to the post box down the street might settle her down. I think this has probably been the coldest day so far this year. She didn't fall asleep like I had hoped but it did in fact calm her down - my plan succeeded!




After our brisk walk it was time for a warm lunch - oatmeal again!




My friend Sarah came by to cut down a Christmas tree in our back yard. She stayed for a bit and we listened to Christmas music and drank some eggnog to get in the spirit.

Video: November 25th - Almost Crawling!

November 25th - MacKenzie is getting pretty good at getting up on her knees. We think she'll be crawling by Christmas. I guess we'll have to get some baby gates sooner than we thought.

November 24th - MacKenzie and I met up with a couple of my girlfriends (Jenna + Monique) last night for supper. Mo had just gotten off work so we just hung out at Kelsey's for an hour or so. I had forgotten how great the food is there!

November 22nd - My good friend Lindsay is back in town for about a month so MacKenzie and I met up with her for lunch. Guess who was the center of attention once again?


MacKenzie has grown so much since Lindsay saw her last. She almost didn't recognize her.

It was so wonderful to see Lindsay again, but lunch had to end eventually. After doing a little shopping we headed back home to see daddy.

Isn't it still a little early for Christmas Parties?

November 21st - My first Christmas event this year!!!! Nancy and I went to the Vanderwees Christmas Celebration together. There we lots of lights, treats and snowmen. The entire greenhouse was full of Christmas trees and poinsettias and Christmas music could be heard everywhere. We had such a great time.

November 19th - Our good friend Stephanie invited us over to celebrate her husbands 28th birthday. We had such a great time playing board games and just before I was about to win the game, the birthday boy (Paul) swooped in and took the title. Here he is playing with MacKenzie.



Daddy was doing an excellent job keeping MacKenzie distracted. She just loves to sit on his shoulders and suck on his bald head. Hehehe




There was a secondary game going on at the same time, it was called "Pass around the baby." Ellie was a little trepidacious to take a turn, but Kenzie did just fine. Until Ellie accidently scared her by crinkling the chip bag that is. So back to mommy she came.
